Welcome

Milano University Press was conceived as an open-access publishing house that would provide a platform for, and disseminate, research findings produced both within the University of Milan (with its strong multi-disciplinary bent) and in the broader academic community.

The decision to open access to these publications was intended to ensure the broadest possible dissemination of scientific findings, as well as to provide visibility to the work of a talented pool of researchers.

Likewise available through open access are those journals published on a platform launched in 2008 to feature the University's online academic journals. With over 50 publications currently available, the platform was inarguably the starting block for Milano University Press.
